About Us

Explore Transplant's mission is to increase informed transplant decision-making to promote the highest possible quality-of-life for patients. We educate medical professionals, patients, potential living donors and the public about transplant and living donation and improve access to transplant education in underserved communities.

Explore Transplant is affiliated with but financially independent of Washington University School of Medicine (WUSM). The Explore Transplant education team are employed by WUSM and founded this nonprofit corporation in order to disseminate transplant education nationally. The Explore Transplant nonprofit corporation is currently overseen by a six-member Board of Directors.
